Types of donations we can’t accept:

• Anything broken, torn, dirty or mildewed
• Mattresses and bedding
• Electrical appliances
• Extremely large furniture
• Glass aquariums
• Chemicals
• Tyres
• Unframed mirrors
• Magazines or text books
• Pornography
• Wire hangers
• Used building materials
• Broken or torn furniture
• Old encyclopaedias
• Used carpet
• Electronics

Donation Criteria

All items must be gently used and in good re-saleable condition. Please do not be offended if your item does not meet the Get Organised standard.

Have goods to donate that we can't accept?

Visit DonateNZ to donate your goods to organisations in your area, from local schools to animal welfare and outreach programmes.
There's no restriction on what can be donated and in most cases, the Recipient will come and pick it up from you.
